Gangnam Style set to break YouTube views record this weekend

South Korean pop sensation PSY is on course to race past JUSTIN BIEBER's YouTube.com video record this weekend (24-25Nov12). The star's Gangnam Style promo is set to become the most-watched video ever after racking up over 795 million views since it was first posted in July (12). Bieber became the first artist to pass 800 million views earlier this month (Nov12) when his Baby track hit the milestone two and a half years since it was posted. The Gangnam Style video is getting an estimated 11 million hits a day, according to reports. Ironically, Psy is managed by Scooter Braun - the same man guiding Bieber's career - and reports suggest the two pop superstars are making plans to work on a song together.

Gangnam Style

Gangnam Style has broken yet another international record. The K-pop hit by South Korean star Psy has become the most watched video on YouTube of all time with over 816 million views. It's taken the crown from Justin Bieber's first single, Baby, which has amassed nearly 805 million views. The hit contains little English, and is apparently a parody of the lavish lifestyles enjoyed in Seoul's upper-class Gangnam district.
